Adventure International distributed the first adventures for home computers. The company founder and developer was Scott Adams, who initially wrote his own version under the name Adventureland for the Radio Shack computer system in 1978. TRS-80 computer system.
Initially, some of these adventures were released for the PET, VIC-20 and ZX Spectrum, before versions for C64 and Plus/4 were also released. There were also adventure games for the Atari, Apple II, Sorcerer, TI and CP/M home computer systems.
