The British games distributor Andromeda Software acted as an intermediary in the 1980s between programmers from the Eastern Bloc, primarily Hungary, and Western publishers, often reselling games to publishers without a licence. The company was founded in 1982 by the Hungarian exile Robert Stein.
Behind this company was the Hungarian software group Novotrade.
