Please revise the template. The labels “Birth Year” and “Death Year” are not typical on English‑language sites and wikis, and “Death Year” is overly blunt. Instead, the labels should be “Born” and “Died”. This also covers instances when the full dates are given and not just the year, as in this article. WikiWonk (talk) 18:35, 8 September 2026 (CEST)

I've changed "dead" to "died", both here and in the template. This is normal English usage as can be seen in these English-language Wikipedia examples: Alan Turing and Jack Tramiel. WikiWonk (talk) 06:09, 11 September 2026 (CEST)
