Greetings.

I’d like to share a few details about Abacus Software. Abacus Software spent a few years publishing software and books for PCs before settling on flight simulation. The company ceased operations in 2012.

I was an Abacus independent contractor from 1984 to 1985, then joined the staff in 1986, leaving the company in 1994 (but continuing to do occasional contract work until 2008 or so).
