Greeting C64 enthusiasts!

I was born in Germany in 1970 and was first exposed to the Commodore range in 1982 because a friend's father owned a PET 4032. I became obsessed, and we were soon told to "get your own computer". 😉

So I was given my first C64 in 1983 just before my family emigrated to New Zealand. It was a great "moving present" and I spent many happy years learning computing from the ground up. When I visited University to study Electronic Engineering, I was told to "get a PC clone, so you can write reports and run SPICE". Somewhat sadly, I complied and sold the C64.

Recently I have rediscovered my interest and noticed the techniques have moved on a lot! So much to learn again. These days I live in the UK, with my 4 children spread around Europe.

I recently decided to join this Wiki because I am in the fortunate position of speaking both English and German at native level, and that might be helpful in some cases.
