Hello Reijkman,

Welcome to our international C64-Wiki.com. We hope, you can supporting us and help by writing or editing some articles. Thank you, for writing your first game articles in our C64-Wiki. --Jodigi 07:39, 17 April 2012 (CEST)

Thanks Jodigi. I have enjoyed browsing the German C64 Wiki a lot, and I think it's good to make this excellent resource more accessible internationally! I will translate some articles too soon. --R
On your own user page, you can link to your own website, if you want. --Jodigi 22:54, 17 April 2012 (CEST)
That would be great! I understand that it needs to be whitelisted.. It's www.dosgamers.com. Otherwise I put that on the whitelist request page soon. Thanks! --reijkman 08:43, 18 April 2012 (CEST)
Now, it should be work. --Jodigi 09:16, 18 April 2012 (CEST)

Welcome from me, too. :) Good to see more people active on the English .com version. Feel free to create more new articles or translate existing one (no matter if from En to Ge or vice versa), or just wait until somebody else does the translating job for you. Theres is sooo much to left to write or translate. --TheRyk 16:22, 18 April 2012 (CEST) :)

Thanks and hello TheRyk! I noticed you have Barbarian: The Ultimate Warrior on your todo list, which I just happened to have translated. Sorry! ;-) The current article title is copied from Wikipedia. Perhaps the article should be renamed/moved/redirected, as its title is not the same as the title of the German C64-Wiki article; DE:Barbarian - The Ultimate Warrior. --R
As I said, there's always enough work, I'm always glad if I can remove something from my To-Do, if someone else does it, even better :D --TheRyk 00:05, 19 April 2012 (CEST)
Good job with the Paperboy translation! Thumbs up, keep up the good work. --TheRyk 10:22, 26 January 2013 (CET)

For me it is also high time to say hello. It is nice to get some support! :) Thank you for your contributions! I've linked the German and English articles Fort Apocalypse and Barbarian to each other and created a redirect for the two different Barbarian titles. --Camailleon 21:38, 18 April 2012 (CEST)

Hello to you too Camailleon! Took me some time to discover the alternative language links in the left navigation menu :) Still finding my way in the wiki world! --Reijkman 12:54, 19 April 2012 (CEST)

Wikipedia-Template[edit source]

Hi Reijkman, for the moment we have to use underscores ( _ ) for links with spaces, for example SID. Seems to be a problem with the mediawiki software and not the template. And welcome to the C64-Wiki...stay a while...--Joystick 12:29, 19 April 2012 (CEST)

Hi Joystick, ...stay forever!... :) thanks. I understand the use of underscores, they're much more readable than a url-safe version of a space (%20). I just wanted the use of {{Wikipedia}} to work for pages with a title that contains spaces.. The variable {{PAGENAME}} in the template uses the page name without converting the spaces to underscores, after which the second word of the title becomes part of the description. Changing the variable to {{PAGENAMEE}} solved this issue...! Now, {{Wikipedia}} works for pages with titles that contain spaces! :D --Reijkman 12:54, 19 April 2012 (CEST)
No fix. Have a look at the version with spaces and with underscores. It doesn't matter, Klaws will have a look at it. BUT: If you want, u can use smilies on the discussion sites. Have a look grin --Joystick 14:22, 19 April 2012 (CEST)
Haha! Will do. cool It seems the SID link is a different story, as that link uses a parameter. And there doesn't seem to be a fix for that indeed.. My issue was a broken wiki link on the Fort Apocalypse page, which does work now.. --Reijkman 14:59, 19 April 2012 (CEST)
