The American computer magazine RUN was published from January 1984 to December 1992 in America, Canada, Mexico and the United Kingdom by the publisher CWC Publication and later by IDG Communicators. The magazine was published monthly until the summer of 1990 (issue #78), and then bi-monthly for its final two years. At its peak it had a circulation of around 250,000.

The magazine focused on Commodore 8-bit computers, specifically the VIC-20 (in the early years), the C64 and the C128 (in the later years).

As well as regular content such as software reviews and tips it included type-in BASIC programs, in common with many similar magazines of the time. In order to execute these programs once entered it was necessary to start them with the command RUN , hence the name of the magazine. Later, the magazine started selling the published program listing on floppy disks or tapes, known as Re-RUN disks.

Five special issues with the best programs and famous RUN articles were published.

In addition, from 1984 until 1987 a similar German computer magazine also called RUN was published by the German subsidiary company of the publisher IDG in Germany.
