DreamLoad

DreamLoad (or DLoad) is a software library implementing a two bit IRQ loader for many different drives like 1541 and compatible, 1570/71, 1581, CMD devices, devices running the sd2iec firmware 0.8 or newer, and the MMC64. DLoad works on PAL and NTSC machines and can easily be combined with crunchers and levelpackers.

DLoad is no standalone/end-user fastloader. Software releases have to be built using DLoad in order to support it.

For MMC64 support, the DFI image format has been created. It is similar to other image formats such as D64. A patched version of cbmconvert is needed to created DFI images. CBMImager also supports creating DFI images.
