Doodle is a software package for the Commodore 64 computer, that allows users to draw graphics, which can be saved to disk and/or printed. It was written by Omni Software in the early to mid 1980s.

This article describe the version 2.0 of doodle.

Graphic format[edit | edit source]

The file type is dd, which isn't showing by loading and saving doodle files.

Doodle saved uncompressed color hires images, which in RAM handled at $5C00:

$5C00 - $5FE7: Screen-RAM
$6000 - $7F3F: Bitmap

An image as disk file has 9216 bytes (37 blocks).

Compressed images has the file type jj, which aren't loaded or saved by the C64 version of doodle.
